Huw Wahl - The Republics Film Poster

For The Republics, a black-and-white art documentary inspired by poet Stephen Watts' book Republic of Dogs / Republic of Birds, I embarked on a unique poster design journey. Given the film's monochromatic nature, the challenge was to infuse vibrant colours that mirrored its essence. Employing a gradient of CMYK colours atop a film shot, I crafted a dynamic visual that captivated the audience. To offer variety, I designed four distinct colour options, creating a captivating collection piece.
